I’m going to keep this short and sweet. My overall feeling on Delves, I like them. And I think the reason I like them is just the ease of getting the gear you need to do what I like to do, which is raid.
Look, I’m by no means a wow veteran. I played towards the end of shadowlands and I played a little bit of Dragonflight. I also played Cataclysm waaay back in 2011.
I think Delves a great because of the fact they’re mindless. If i’m being honest i’m a bit of a “I can’t be fucked” gamer. I dont like games that require a heavy cognitive load a lot of the time (think runescape, valheim,palworld). With that said though the times I can be fucked I love getting into a raid and learning mechanics for boss fights etc.

I guess the other key factor is just the time factor. Delves are soo easy, esspecially in a team. And they can be done in about 10 minutes. Being able to get decent gear to go raiding that easily is just a nice way to bypass all the crap.
I was never a huge fan of M+ so being able to quickly queue up with a group, mindlessly run a delve and fill up the vault is nice.
I know everyone is going to have a different opinion on that though.
